SCDOT Design-Build
Design-Build Overview
SCDOT advertises Design-Build opportunities in the Budget and Control Board's South Carolina Business Opportunities (SCBO) Publication. As a convenience, we are also publishing those same Design-Build advertisements here and providing additional information regarding upcoming Design-Build projects.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is increasingly utilizing the Design-Build process and other alternative delivery methods in an effort to expedite project delivery. The Design-Build Group within Preconstruction administers the Department's Design-Build and Alternative Delivery Methods Program. This Group is comprised of engineers from various disciplines in order to help identify and deliver innovative projects statewide in a timely and efficient manner.
