SCDOT Requests Public Comment on the 2024-2033 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to include a Bridge Replacement in Lancaster County
The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks public comment on the action to amend the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to include the construction of a closed bridge in Lancaster County. SCDOT will receive public comment for a 21-day period from December 5, 2024 through December 25, 2024.
This project will include preliminary engineering, right of way, and construction work to replace the closed bridge on S-294 (Uriah Road) over Camp Branch in Lancaster County. The cost for construction of the bridge is $2.4 million.
To assist those who do not have internet access, a printed copy of this press release and any supporting information is available for public review and comment at any of the South Carolina Department of Transportation District Offices and the South Carolina Council of Government Offices.
