Columbia, S.C. (April 8, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold a swearing in ceremony for newly confirmed Secretary of Transportation Justin P. Powell and deputy secretaries.
The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, on the front steps of SCDOT Headquarters at 955 Park Street in Columbia.

Following the swearing in ceremony, there will be an opportunity for a media availability with Secretary Powell. Please arrive no later than 1:50 p.m. Parking will be available on Park Street in front of the Headquarters building. Please arrive early in order to secure a spot as they are limited, and may only be accessed from the Pendleton Street side.
