Nighttime Rehabilitation Work on Interstate 85 to begin February 11

Greenville, S.C. (February 10, 2024) - SCDOT will begin rehabilitating a portion of I-85 in Greenville County this Sunday, February 11. This construction work will take place overnight and is expected to last approximately five months.

Rehabilitation work on I-85 will take place near Old Sulphur Springs Road, Parkins Mill Road, Old Piedmont Highway, Mauldin Road, and Laurens Road. Drivers can expect nighttime lane and ramp closures in these locations throughout the duration of the project. Signage will be put in place to direct traffic during construction.

Road Work Locations

  • I-85 Southbound from .04 Mi. S of South Old Piedmont Highway to .06 Mi. S of Old Sulphur Springs Road

  • I-85 Northbound from .04 Mi. S of South Old Piedmont Highway to .06 Mi. N of Parkins Mill Road
