The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks public comment on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. SCDOT will receive public comment for a 21-day period from July 18, 2024 through August 8, 2024.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation’s (SCDOT) Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is SCDOT’s 10-year (Federal Fiscal Year 2024-2033) prioritized listing of transportation projects that receive federal transportation funding or those that require approval from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) or the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Federal regulations require each state to produce a STIP at least once every four years. The STIP is prepared in cooperation with local and regional agencies and stakeholders, and the information contained within the STIP includes the cost, schedule and funding sources for the identified projects.
