Greenville, S.C. (October 12, 2023) - Beginning Monday, Oct. 23, SCDOT will close Roper Mountain Road Extension for construction. SCDOT will close Roper Mountain Road Extension in order to build approaches for the new bridge over Rocky Creek. SCDOT urges drivers to use caution while navigating around the closure.

Drivers traveling on Roper Mountain Road can continue south and then keep right onto Frontage Road. Drivers can then turn left onto Patewood Drive, and continue north west toward Pelham Road.

Drivers traveling down Pelham Road can turn left onto Patewood Drive and continue south before turning left onto S.C. 509. Drivers can then continue east toward Roper Mountain Road.
